At the foot of Mont Blanc sits the wonderful Chamonix.
Chamonix has a multitude of ski slopes for all levels: the ski area of Chamonix Mont-Blanc extends over 3 main slopes: Brévent / Flégère facing due south and facing the Mont-Blanc range; the Grands Montets on the north side and overlooking the village of Argentière; and the domain of Balme, at the top of the valley, at the limit of the Swiss border.
A variety of areas: the sister resort, Les Houches, is located at the opposite end of the valley. Chamonix has 3 areas on the valley floor, ideal for children and beginners to winter sports.
Chamonix offers a multitude of slopes for all levels in a wide variety of sites. Large open slopes, skiing through the trees, wild skiing (off piste), trails for beginners, the site offers endless possibilities for all winter sports enthusiasts.
